Anish Kapoor at Houghton Hall

Anish Kapoor uses Houghton Hall, a historic house and garden, as the setting for an exhibition of large sculptures which express materials, light and time. Inside the house are eight mirrors which offer differently coloured optical effects on their surfaces beside a fleshy sculpture carved in marble. Outside the centrepiece is a giant, steel 'Sky Mirror' which connects the changing character of the sky to the environment in which it stands.
